The perfect place for your family reunion, vacation, or business/church retreat. Located in the beautiful Paradise Hill/Strayhorn Hills area of Gore, Oklahoma, at Lake Tenkiller.
Across the street from Fin and Feather Resort, at the corner of Lake View Drive and Western Avenue. Minutes from Strayhorn Landing Recreation Area & Marina

Huge private vacation home with 4,000+ sq. ft.: 6 bedrooms, 4 baths; game room, family room, living room, large kitchen, oversized deck with charcoal and gas barbeques.

Peak season rates (May 1 through Labor Day), $440 per night (minimum of 3 nights); 4 or more nights, $410 per night. Major holidays, peak rate + 10% surcharge, 3-night minimum. 10% discount to church groups and active military. We accept Visa and Mastercard. Housebroken pets welcome (limit 2); $15 per night each, plus $100 Deposit. Off-peak season rates (Day after Labor Day through April 30), $410 per night, 2-night minimum; 3 or more nights, $380 per night.

Features

  • Wooded, double corner lot with two large parking areas (one off each street), including a level handicapped entry and a pull-through driveway (great for boats).

  • Central air and heat (three separate thermostats for your comfort).

  • Sleeps 28+ -- 10 double/queen beds, 2 single beds, and 6 sofas, PLUS plenty of room for sleeping bags!

  • Two downstairs bedrooms with adjoining baths (great for Senior guests!)

  • Spacious first floor game room with pool table; karaoke machine; CD player; poker table; electronic darts; foosball table; stereo system; Baldwin Organ, etc.

  • DirectTV in 4 rooms. Plasma TV in game room with DVD. TV’s in Family Room/Library and Living Room both have DVD & VCR. TV with VCR in tower bedroom. We have a supply of DV D’s and Videos. You are welcome to bring your own, and rentals are available across the street at BJ’s store.

  • First floor living room with 2-1/2 story view windows.

  • Large view deck with tables & chairs, adjoins living room. Propane 3-burner grill + two charcoal barbeques. Fire pit (bring your own firewood, an axe to cut up our logs; firewood also available at BJ’s convenience store across the street.

  • Fully equipped kitchen on first floor has new microwave, self-cleaning double oven, 4-burner cooktop, newer refrigerator, electric roaster, three coffee makers (one “party size”), toaster, electric can opener, large kettles, pot and pan set, etc.; completely outfitted for 30 guests or more. *

  • 8 foot dining table and chairs, breakfast bar with stools, large extra table, plus three card table & chair sets which can be added for additional diners, or used on the deck (please bring indoors after use).

  • Upstairs Family Room/Library, with Play Corner, seats 20 or more

  • Laundry room with new washer and dryer (guests supply own detergent).

  • House phone for local calls (use calling card for all other calls).

  • All linens and bedding provided; beds all made and ready for you!

  • New porta-crib/playpen, high chair, mesh “balcony guard” (guests can put up as necessary), and safety gate provided for the little ones. For small children, please bring waterproof night clothes, etc., as almost all mattresses are brand new.

* We supply everything except food and personal items. Paper plates, dish soap, hand soap, paper towels, Kleenex, trash bags, food storage bags, and even bathroom spray. Some items may not be available, depending on useage by the previous guest.

GOOD TO KNOW

Professionally cleaned before each arrival (housekeeper lives across the street).

Across the street from restaurants (Fin & Feather, Soda Steve’s and BJ’s); 2 convenience stores; gift shop; service station; propane service; DVD rental service. You’ll enjoy the wonderful, famous buffets at Fin & Feather (closes Sept 23rd, but open for Thanksgiving and Easter dinners).

Complete driving directions can be found at FinandFeatherResort.com, and we’re right across Highway 10-A from them, corner of Western and Lake View Drive.

Just 0.1 mile to Strayhorn Recreation Area and Marina for swimming, boating, picnicking and gift shop (see Strayhorn.com). Five miles to Lake Tenkiller State Park, and ~ 6 miles to Tenkiller Golf Course.

Guests may like to bring DVD’s/Videos, pool cues (really serious players!); karaoke music (we have some), and video games for the kids.

Each guest is responsible for leaving the grills clean after use, or will be charged $20/day.

Self Check In, Check Out: Check-In, 4 pm; Check-Out, 11 am. Exceptions if possible, upon request. Keys will be under the game room mat. We ask that all guests complete the registration sheet provided, and fill in the comment section for the Guest Book. Upon checking out, guests are asked to leave keys on the kitchen counter, not to strip the beds, but leave the used beds unmade. Starting a load of bath towels will make it easier to get ready for the next guests.

Cancellation policy:  30 days notice required for return of half the deposit (re-booking fee); no return of deposit with less than 30 days.  Emergency cancellations considered individually, but require proof (copy of hospital bill, etc.).  On a case-by-case basis, the full deposit may be carried over to the next reservation, if that reservation is booked at the same time as the cancellation, and is fully pre-paid. 

DIRECTIONS

Directions From Interstate 40:  Take the Gore/Webbers Falls Exit (Exit #287) off I-40 and go north on State Highway 100 through Webbers Falls, across the Arkansas River, and into Gore. Stay on Highway 100 and continue north approximately 8 miles, joining Highway 10-A. We are across the 10-A from Fin & Feather Resort, at the corner of Western Avenue and Lake View Drive.

Directions From TulsaTake the Broken Arrow Expressway east to the Muskogee Turnpike. Continue east toward Muskogee and take the second Muskogee exit, State Highway 62 (to Tahlequah). Take US 62 east across the Arkansas River to State Highway 10 South (to Braggs).  Turn right on Highway 10 and go approximately 18 miles, passing Green Leaf Lake and Braggs, to State Highway 10A.  Turn left on Highway 10A and co ntinue 4 miles.  Fin and Feather Resort will be on your left, and Five Oaks is right across the Highway at the corner of Western Avenue and Lake View Drive. 

From the Dallas, Texas, area: Take State Highway 75 North toward Oklahoma.  Continue on State Highway 75 North, which will turn into State Highway 69.  Take Interstate 40 east toward Fort Smith, and follow the directions above for I-40.

From Fort Smith, AR: Take Interstate 40 West toward Oklahoma and follow the directions above for Interstate 40.

From Tahlequah: Take US 62 toward Muskogee. Just outside of Tahlequah, turn left on State Highway 82 South. Continue on 82 to the Keys; turn right on Indian Road (at the B of A) & go south, until you dead-end into Highway 10A.  Turn left and go 1/2 mile to Western Ave; turn right, and Five Oaks will be on your left.
